Invention Convention New York recognizes outstanding young inventors through a tiered award system that celebrates creativity, innovation, and problem-solving at every level. At both regional and state competitions, students may earn Bronze, Silver, or Gold Medals based on the quality and impact of their inventions. The names of student finalists and their inventive projects will be proudly showcased on this page to highlight their achievements and inspire future inventors.
Gold Medal finalists from regional events will advance to the statewide Invention Convention New York Finals, where they will compete among the top inventors across the state.
Gold Medal state finalists will then earn the honor of representing New York at the U.S. National Invention Convention.
At the national level, each qualifying invention is eligible for over eighty grade-level, category, industry, and patent application awards, as well as cash prizes and scholarships recognizing excellence in innovation.
